Dear La. NP,

I am reaching out to ask for support for Rep. Travis Johnson.  You can click here to learn more about Rep. Johnson. He is a staunch advocate for nursing and nurse practitioners in Louisiana. Access to care is a huge issue in his district and he understands that NPs are the solution. He is currently fund raising and needs our help. I need 5 NPs or nurses that are willing to be on his fundraising committee with a commitment of $250 each. You do not have to be in district, just supportive of improved access to care. Talk to your friends and colleagues and garner support from them as well. When you make your donation, be sure and let Rep. Johnson know that you are a Nurse or NP.

Rep Johnson plans to host a campaign fundraiser on Sept. 6 at 6 p.m. via zoom. More information will be forthcoming. 

You do not have to be in his district to support, however, we do need to get in touch with those that are in his district. Rep. Johnson's district covers the Parishes of Catahoula, Concordia, East Carroll, Madison, and Tensas. Please help me reach those in his district as there are many out there that are not members of LANP and that I do not have reach too. Send them to LANP to at the very minimum, become a follower.
