Hello,

My granddaughter, Payton Leydig, is a fifth grader at Chestnut Ridge Middle School and was nominated to attend the Junior Leadership Conference in Washington, DC, in June.  She is excited to attend this invitation-only conference but needs to raise more than $2200 for the tuition.  As a fundraiser, she is seeking donations of gently used shoes (no holes or visible damage) of any type (boots, sandals, tennis shoes, etc.).  They will go to an underserved country to help people in need.  She needs to collect about 2500 pairs.  If anyone is willing to donate shoes, please bring them to the Blair Regional NP meeting on February 9 or contact me to arrange pickup if you have a lot.  If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with me at buterbaughjs@aol.com.
