Dr. Pamela Smith is the Associate Dean at Chaminade University of Honolulu which has a Doctor of Nursing Practice program with three track options. Dr. Smith has been a faculty member and leader in graduate nursing academia for over a decade and has maintained an active family nurse practitioner practice for 17 years. Dr. Smith serves on a number of state-wide nurse leadership committees, actively peer reviews proposals for publication, manages a number of health related grants, initiated a Parish Health Program for Hawaii’s community, and has presented posters at national nursing organizations. She received her EdD in Educational Leadership from University of New England, MSN from Hawai’i Pacific University, and her BSN from Johns Hopkins University.
