Updated DEA Requirements for Controlled Substance Prescribing: Get Your 8-Hour Training Requirement Completed ASAP

New Requirement:

In December 2022, Congress passed a new law requiring all DEA registrants who did not previously have an X waiver to obtain 8 hours of controlled substance prescribing training. This is a one-time requirement and must be completed by the registrant's next DEA registration submission on or after June 27, 2023.
