HB 1046 ( allowing APRNs and PAs to sign Home Health certs and Death certificates) will be heard TOMORROW at 2 pm.

REMEMBER these are two barriers that are preventing us from FPA ( full practice authority)!!!

MAG has stated that WE are not competent to sign these!!  I hope this makes every APRN MAD!

WHAT WE NEED:

•   ANYONE that can come to the capitol to help us reach out to  health committee members from 9am to noon
•  ANYONE that can come to the hearing at 2 pm... we need NP presence!!
• one person to transcribe the hearing from the archived video
• 20 people to call the 535 funeral homes in GA to ask for support (especially needed if this bill passes committee)
• 10 people to call the 103 home health agencies for support
• MOST IMPORTANT IF ANY OF THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS ARE YOUR LEGISLATOR PLEASE CALL THEIR OFFICE TOMORROW AM, TELL THE AA YOU WOULD LIKE YOU REPRESENTATIVE TO SUPPORT THIS BILL,, please see file attached
