Judith Barberio, PhD, APN, ANP-BC, GNP-BC, PMGT-BC is a Clinical Associate Professor at  Rutgers University School of Nursing, teaching in graduate and undergraduate nursing programs on palliative care / hospice, pain management, addiction, and pharmacology. She is the Co-Treasurer of the New Jersey Palliative Care Advanced Practice Nurse Consortium.

Her co-authored article  Eliminating Extended-Release Opioids from a Postoperative Pain Protocol for Total Knee Replacement Patients was published in Pain Management Nursing.
