Last week, members of the NJPC APNC Consortium gathered at the Annual Assembly in Phoenix, Arizona. It provided an excellent opportunity to reconnect with friends, fellow members, and colleagues.

A special congratulations goes out to Katie DeMarco, DNP, MSHS, FNP-BC, APN, ACHPN®, FPCN, VP of Community Health and Legislation, for her presentation on "Illuminating Emergency Department Health Policy Recommendations to an Invisible Palliative Care Screening Process."

Furthermore, Katie has been honored as the recipient of the 2024 Fellow in Palliative Care Nursing (FPCN).
