Dear Members,
I have some anticipated growth and pending open positions in my Palliative Care Service at Hackensack University Medical Center (Hackensack/Bergen county). I anticipate to have full time, part time, and per diem APP (PA or APN) positions. I am conducting pre interviews at this time and hopeful this group may know of some providers that are interested. During the pre interview I would be reviewing more team details, where these positions would be working, and addressing any questions the candidate may have. A formal interview would need to be conducted with my team thereafter.
Our team is a large interprofessional palliative team; service the hospital, have specialty ambulatory clinics such as (pal-onc, pal-ALS, pal-movement disorder, pal-cardiac, pal-psychotherapy, and pal-medical which is non cancer), and skilled nursing facilities. APPs on my team are 100% independent palliative co-management consult attendings. I train new APPs for 4-6 months before they are independent.
