Congratulations to our longtime board member, Dr. Marlene (Pinky) Chance, JD, APRN, FNP-BC, FAANP, on receiving the 2024 UPAA Distinguished Alumni Award in Leadership in Nursing. This was awarded based on her leadership and achievements in her field, and contributions that create change to benefit the lives of many. Dr. Chance is in Manila, Philippines and received her award the ceremony on August 17th.

We are extremely proud of Dr. Chance, who is one of the founding members of the SFCAPN and remained active in the organization for 30 years. She recently retired after practicing for over 32 years in the Pembroke Pines area and moved to Ocala to enjoy retirement.
