It is with great sadness that I share the news of Atty/Dr. Linda Simunek's passing this morning, July 7, 2024. Dr. Simunek was the founding Dean of the FIU School of Nursing, a brilliant educator, mentor, and friend who has touched the lives of so many. She will be deeply missed by her colleagues, friends, and family. May she rest in peace.
