On behalf of the members of NPCTC, the Board of Directors wish to thank Jennifer Gerring for her many years of dedication to the Nurse Practitioner Council of the Treasure Coast!

Thank you for many years of sharing your time and talents with Nurse Practitioners Council of the Treasure Coast!  Your dedication was instrumental to the formation of NPCTC and we hope you'll remain a member of this organization for many years to come!

A bit of history about NPCTC - this group was formed many years ago (nearly 25 years ago) as a way for NPs to gather to network and learn about new medications and medical devices.  The group, known as Treasure Coast Nurse Practitioners, or TCNP, met during sponsored dinner meetings at various local restaurants throughout the area.  Recognizing a the importance of coming together and formalizing the organization for the newest generations of NPs, a group of those with the same interest formed a "planning committee" to explore best ways to facilitate this initiative.

Jennifer Gerring, a long-time attendee of those informal dinner meetings, was one of the first members of the planning committee.  She often hosted their meetings at her home on Friday evenings after a long work week.  It was the start of good things to come!  Eventually, the group formed a business plan which lead to incorporating as a non-profit organization.  The group launched NPCTC after establishing an Interim Board of Directors and Jennifer served as our Inaugural Vice-President!  

Once the interim board was established, formal elections were held and Jennifer transitioned to serving as a Director, and eventually Membership Director.  She has always contributed in positive ways to improving the organization for the benefit of its membership.  If we were to describe her service to this council, we'd use words like "dedication", "steadfast", "enthusiasm",  and "forward-thinking visionary".

Thank you for all that you do!  We hope you'll continue to be a dedicated, steadfast, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking member of NPCTC for many years to come!
