Attention all South Dakota Nurse Practitioner Students! Applications for NPASD Scholarship are due by October 1, 2024.

NPASD Student Scholarship Information:

• $1000 will be awarded at the NPASD Annual Meeting held during the Fall Conference.
• Student definition: Any student enrolled in a SD College NP Program or Internet program with a majority of clinical experiences in South Dakota (Master's or Doctorate), who are enrolled or has completed at least 1 nurse practitioner practicum or clinical course, and those with intent to practice in SD.
• Membership in NPASD: Will be required (student membership is $25), Please register as a student on the NPASD website IF YOU ARE NOT already a member.
• Winner must be present at the conference to receive the award.
• The Scholarship Winner will contribute a Clinical Pearl or short article that impacts NP practice, to be published in one of the next three NPASD newsletters.
• The winner will become the student representative on the NPASD Board of Directors for the following year.

Application to include:

1. Written statement of personal perception for NP role/practice in SD (one double-spaced typed page)
2. Proof of enrollment or previous enrollment in a nurse practitioner practicum or clinical course.
3. All items are to be emailed in one package to ExecutiveDirector@NPASD.com
