Call for Candidates: Vice President and Treasurer Positions (2025-2027 Term)

The United Advanced Practice Registered Nurses of Georgia

we are excited to announce the call for candidates for the positions of Vice President and Treasurer for the upcoming UAPRN election. The elected officers will serve a two-year term from 2025 to 2027.

Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for nomination, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold an Active Professional Membership
  • Submit a Bio (300 words max)
  • Provide a Professional Headshot
  • Complete and return the attached Consent to Serve Form

For your reference, we have also attached a copy of the bylaws, which include a detailed description of each role. Below is a summary of responsibilities for the open positions:

Vice President:

  • Assist the President and carry out duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.
  • Assume the responsibilities of the President in the event of their death, resignation, absence, or inability to perform their duties.
  • Serve as the Association’s Compliance Officer.

Treasurer:

  • Maintain accurate financial records of the Association’s business transactions and accounts.
  • Present financial records to the Board of Directors or any Director upon request.

Submission Deadline:
All required materials must be submitted no later than Friday, January 10th, 2025.
