Our NP Council of Miami Dade President Tom Schlepko traveled earlier this year to Tallahassee to testify supporting PMHNPs and the bill allowing for autonomous practice. He is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner not only as a provider, but he also consistently goes above and beyond to advocate for his patients, mentor fellow clinicians, and contribute to improving health outcomes. His compassion, professionalism, and commitment to advancing the role of nurse practitioners make him a true role model and a deserving recipient of this honor.
