November Networking Minutes:

Thank you for those who attended the November APPLE Networking Meeting on November 13th.  If you were unable to attend, the minutes are attached with information on how to access the recording. 

 

Survey:

Will be sending out an APPLE APP Educator Survey very soon.  Please be on the lookout in the next few weeks (it is delayed due to inability to upload files on Microsoft Forms between organizations, working on a fix).  This information will be shared within the APPLE membership for benchmarking and educational purposes.

 

Next Meetings:

Invites will be going out for the January and March Networking meetings this week. May, July, September and November to follow.

Questions for Membership:

We have had a some questions from members that want input from others.  You can either respond to me with your answers or to the person who asked the question.  If I get multiple responses, I will compile and send out to the membership.

• Is anyone using EXAAT for APN student onboarding compliance? We are currently using My clinical exchange which is working well, however our nursing education is using EXAAT for their students.
• There is a thought to develop an APP  “professional practice” role through the nursing department. I wanted to try and get some job descriptions for those roles as I think some of our members are in positions like this.

• Do you have education related to Billing and coding practices to improve ROI? (We may have someone speak to this at one of our networking meetings as well).
