Nurse Practitioners Wanted!

After years of planning, and months of clinic preparation, the Coachella Valley Volunteers in Medicine (CVVIM) free clinic is now open in Indio!  Offering free medical and dental services to the most indigent of our Valley neighbors, CVVIM operates using the unique Volunteers in Medicine model which incorporates a “Culture of Caring” with care delivered exclusively by volunteers.  Our clinic is attractive, well-equipped, with a caring, friendly, and professional atmosphere.   

We are the 84th VIM clinic in the nation, and are actively recruiting licensed professionals for four-hour shifts.  Please consider volunteering one shift per month to deliver high-quality health care services to folks who would otherwise have no access to services whatsoever.  We are confident that you will find your service to be one of the most rewarding endeavors you have ever undertaken. 

Each Thursday afternoon, we are having a Women’s Health clinic with GYN services, and on Saturday, we are having a general medical clinic from 8:00-12:00.  Our highest demand is on Saturday morning, and we have had a substantial response from potential patients, and are quickly filling clinic schedules for the upcoming weeks.  We need your skills to be able to help meet this limitless demand.

One four-hour shift per month is all we ask.  Won’t you please step up?
