“Patients are being murdered,” a former nurse testifies in videotaped testimony released Tuesday by attorneys representing a Green Cove Springs man in a bitter medical malpractice case against Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville.

Rhonda Skinner-Sullivan, clad in a black turtleneck during the Dec. 14 deposition and responding calmly to an attorney’s questions, says she delivered that chilling message to a superior in late 2007. She says she repeatedly warned administrators about wound care she saw as poor during her nearly six years at the Southside hospital.
