FNPN sponsored SB 536/HB 413 Physical Therapy Bill was signed by the Governor. This bill authorizes physical therapists to implement physical therapy treatment plans which are provided by Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners. This is a small step toward practicing toward our educational potential and scope of practice. Our Legislative focus in the next session will be Controlled Substance prescribing authority. Our team will be working in the off session on educating our legislators. Please take the opportunity during the off session to visit you district Senator and House Representative to educate them and ask for their support.
