Thanks for getting in touch. You make a good point- I focused my story more on doctors in specialties, such as orthopedic surgery and neurosurgery, and did not delve into to the shortage of primary care physicians as much as I would have liked to. I know several people who are nurse practitioners (albeit in places outside the Mohawk Valley) and understand that you do important and complicated work. I'm sorry I dodn't give you the credit you deserve in the story. Next time I write about the topic I will remember to include the nurse practitioners.
