The public hearing on the proposed NP Rules Changes at the NC Board of Nursing is Friday, September 25th, at 1:00 PM. Please see the NCBON link below for details:

Most changes are administrative and simplify approval to practice rules. The most important change will allow NPs to claim up to 30 hours of CE for student precepting. This is good news for our schools and NPs. This is an example of the NP Counil and BON working together to improve NP practice in NC.
