Please accept my sincere wishes for a very happy Advanced Register Nurse Practitioner Week.  Things are heating up in Tallahassee.  Please take a moment to read the following and contact the senators and representatives listed to further the cause for ARNPs in the state of Florida.

It is Time To Call and Email Legislators

 

Now is the time for the legislature to hear us.

 

Please call these legislators and committees EVERY WEEK until session ends . Emphasize how ARNPS can increase care and reduce costs without any cost to the state.

Please Ask them to Include ARNPS in Medicaid Reform and to Support 

HB 4103


Please tell them about the OPPAGA study that proves we will save the state 339 million annually and the IOM report that calls for full scope of practice.

 

 

Also please call and email your own state senator and  representative.

March 13-19 declared  Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Week in Florida! 

Rep. Daphne Campbell RN Secures Resolution for APRNS.

 


Representative Daphne Campbell introduced a resolution declaring March 13-19 Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Week in Florida. The resolution will be read on the house floor Wednesday March 16.This will coincide with FNA lobby days and we encourage all available members to attend the Lobby Day events and the reading of the resolutionWear your lab coats to the Gallery. Tentative time is 1pm for the reading. She has also requested a proclamation honoring nursing organizations in Florida. If approved, these will be presented at the same time as the resolution.
