Capital Chapter announces 2010 Nurse Practitioner of the Year

The Capital Chapter, NPA announces that Johanna Dooley and Regina Matties NP are being honored as the 2010 Nurse Practitioners of the Year.   They received this award for excellence in service to the chapter and for their work as nurse practitioners serving the Capital Region.
 
Ms. Matties was serving as the Chapter President for four years.  She has been an active member of the NPA for over 20 years.  She also chairs the Membership Committee. Ms Matties is a  Womens Health Nurse Practitioner in private practice.  Regina is a graduate of Sage College.  She resides in Valatie. 
 
Ms. Dooley is working at the Stratton VAMC in the Department of Gastroenterology.  She was involved in the Capital Region Cancer Consortium.  She has been the Chapter’s treasurer for the past 10 years.  She has been a member of the NPA for 16 years.   Johanna graduated from Sage College and resides in Latham.
