We can smell fall in the air! Hard to believe summer is coming to a close. We are looking forward to getting back together and continue to put our minds together to continue to come up with ways to promote and educate Nurse Practitioners in the Syracuse area.

The teaching day in June was a huge success and we have heard great feedback. A huge thank you to Helen O'Neill who spear headed this event for the first time this year.  Stay tuned for full result details.

The golf tournement was also a great success. Thank you to Alicia Costello and Deb Pfugh for resurrecting this awesome event. We look forward to more details at the next dinner meeting.

Remember the NPA 29th annual conference is October 23-25 in Saratoga Springs. There are 31 CEU's available. There is more information available on this site under upcoming events.

By now we have all signed up for the I-Stop program. This is a great way for us to keep closer tabs on our patients on controlled substances.

We will continue to bring information to the group on the Afordable Care Act and its impact on care in our area as we get it.

Remember all board meetings are the first Tuesday of the month and the dinner meetings are the second Tuesday of the month. Check back on the site frequently for any changes the dinner meetings.

Looking forward to a great fall.
