Deanne Timm,  former HANP treasurer, has infomed me that a dear nurse practitioner colleague and HANP member was involved in a devastating automobile accident on June 23rd.  Her name is Comfort Moore, and her condition is fragile.  If you had the good fortune to know her before the accident, you will likely recall her warm smile and vivacious laugh that she spread regularly to many elderly patients and collegues in the Houston area. Please take a moment to pray for this professional, caring nurse that she will experience a complete recovery and return to her 10 year old son, her husband, and the many elderly patients and friends that miss her dearly.
