As you may all know, VANP has partnered with the American Diabetes Association to help raise awareness. VANP president, Dr. Joy Holladay RN, DNP, FNP and Dr. Lisa Campbell RN, DNP-PHN, GNP have been collaborating with John Griffin, ADA president, on a Diabetes Day event at Riverside Park on November 12th.

They combined forces with Father Stan at Our Lady of Sorrows church and organized a blood glucose screening yesterday morning. Five NPs, one NP student, and 4 RNs volunteered and together they screened 58 church goers!
