The Silicon Valley Chapter for Nurse Practitioners

Hello,

I am contacting your organization about a non-invasive research opportunity that some of your members might be interested in. My company, Interface Analysis Associates, is a consumer research firm in Cupertino/San Jose that conducts usability studies for products to determine if they are easy and safe to use. Currently, we have an upcoming study on October 12th involving products that will be used by oncology professionals. The goal is to present the products to real potential users to get their feedback on the experience. All of our studies are non-invasive, so participants are never asked to deliver any medication or injections. They will interact with a device, see if it is usable for them, and give their feedback on the product. The studies are brief and participants will receive $100 for a 45-minute session to evaluate the product.

We were wondering if you would be able to help us get in touch with healthcare professionals who have experience delivering Neulasta or Neupogen (to chemotherapy patients). We would greatly appreciate it if this information could be passed on to your colleagues. Study details are provided at the end of this letter. Also, I have attached a flyer that could be posted in common areas.

Please let us know if this would be possible, or if there is anyone else that we can contact to pass on the opportunity to those who might be interested. If you or someone you know is interested in participating, please contact us at iaa_research@yahoo.com. In your email, please include "HCP Oncology Study" in the subject line and provide your full name and your daytime phone number so that we can contact you about the study.

Paid Opportunity for Healthcare Professionals

The study session will take about 45 minutes and pays $100 cash. This is a non-invasive consumer research study, which takes place in our Cupertino/San Jose office. During the session, you will simply be asked to perform a mock injection on a skin pad and answer some questions regarding your experience with the drug delivery device.

To participate you must have experience delivering Neulasta or Neupogen to chemotherapy patients.

This is a great opportunity to influence a product in your domain before it goes on the market!

The study takes place on Wednesday, October 12th (exact times TBD).

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Maggie
