News!
The Board held its annual retreat on January 5th. President Heather Cook-Smith presided over the retreat, where each committee chair discussed issues and goals for the year. At the retreat, monthly board meetings were set for the following Mondays: February 24th, March 24th, April 28th, May 19th, June 23rd, September 22nd, October 10th and December 1st at 6 pm at the Neurosurgical Center on S. Clinton Ave. An updated board directory will be posted to the website to facilitate your communication with the board. At present, it can be found by clicking the About Us tab on the eNP NPAGR website and then clicking on Leadership Directory. Please contact us with feedback regarding the NPAGR.

- What: When and Where a Patient is Available for Hospice: A Collaborative Approach
- When: Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 6:00pm ET
- Where: Lifetime Care: Special Events Room, 3111 S Winton Road, Rochester, NY 14623
- Details: The Program objective is to educate NPs on the roles of the hospice team: Medical Director, Social Work, Volunteers, and Bereavement Coordinators. This event offers 1.5 CE credits to attendees.

- What: Legislative Reception
- When: Thursday, February 13, 2014, 7pm – 8:30 pm
- Where: St. John Fisher College, room TBA
- Details: Join our GVNA colleagues for this reception, one of several cooperative events with other nursing organizations planned for 2014. Look for other co-sponsored events to be announced this year.

- Website: we continue to work with the State on the eNP website. We are grateful for the continued support of our webmaster, Kathryn Lui, to help us with website maintenance. Contact Julie Albert (jalbert@sjfc.edu ) from the Communications committee if you have issues r/t the website.
- NP and NP Student of the Year nominations are due 7/1/2014. Please begin thinking of worthy nominees now.
