Our very own CANPA member B. Davis (Davy) Campbell, MSN, ACNP has recently published his first book.  Davy's book titled "A Place I Didn't Want To Go:  My Victory Over Cancer" is an inspirational work based on his experiences since being diagnosed 5 years ago with bladder cancer at the age of 43.  The book is available at Amazon.com for $10.00.  Also, we have been very fortunate to have Davy at our last 2 CANPA meetings with copies of his book available for purchase and he's been happy to sign them!  Davy has also published two journal articles and will speak this week at a women's health conference in TX on the topic of his most recently published article "Chest Pain:  When Should I Be Worried?" from the journal, The Clinical Advisor, December, 2010.  Davy also wrote an article, "Bladder Cancer:  Revealing News About a Hidden Threat" which was published in Nursing 2006, the April edition.  We are truly blessed to have someone like Davy in our organization!
