Cynthia Evans, MSN, who is a member of the Tallahassee Area Council of Advanced Practice Nurses, has been awarded the 2014 State of Excellence from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She works at Bond Community Health Center in Tallahassee.

According to information on the AANP website, http://www.aanp.org/component/content/article/136-press-room/2013-press-releases/1332-aanp-state-award-for-excellence-nominations , "the NP State Award for Excellence is given annually to an individual NP in each state who has demonstrated excellence in NP clinical practice."
