I am forming a nominating committee that will prepare ballot consisting of at least one nominee for each open office position (president-elect and treasurer)for our next election in April 2014. This is a great opportunity for all members, but especially for newer members and students. This is a great way to promote our organization and nominate or recruit people that are ready to serve our community and our profession. I will serve as a chair of this committee and am looking for at least 3 members. Serving on board or committee is very rewarding and comes with many extra perks but most of all you will be doing something for your profession!
