Dear members,

We would like to let you know about a wonderful opportunity to highlight the outstanding work of Nurse Practitioners in our Chapter.  CANP is currently accepting nominations for two separate awards: The Bridging Health Care Needs Award, and the Nurse Practitioner of Distinction Award.

The intent of the Bridging Health Care Needs Award is to recognize a Nurse Practitioner who is a catalyst for positive change in the health care system and who demonstrates the value of the care nurse practitioners provide to their patients.  

The intent of the Nurse Practitioner of Distinction Award is to recognize a CANP Member who demonstrates excellence in furthering the nurse practitioner role in either legislative efforts or clinical application.  The intention is to confer the highest recognition for an NP, to be recognized for excellence by their peers.

Deadline for nominations is January 6, 2012.
