CMS has delayed the ruling regarding on whether NPs will be allowed to order DME and other needed supplies for patients. If you are having difficulties getting orders filled with DME companies, this is a link to CMS.gov delineating the requirements for ordering DME. It may be helpful to provide this to DME companies, if you encounter barriers in ordering DME for your patients.
