Panama City, FL
The Florida Panhandle Nurse Practitioner Coalition

HB 1195 passed on the house floor with a vote of 116 yeas and no nays. It is scheduled to be voted on the Senate floor tomorrow, Tuesday, March 6th as SB 1750.

This bill will allow NPs and PAs to sign a certificate of involuntary examination for patients who are suicidal or homicidal. It will allow NPs and PAs to protect their patients and the public. We are pleased that members of the Florida House of Representatives unanimously support this good bill.

Please continue to email all senators and ask support for SB 1750 and send a thank you note to your representatives.

Together we will be victorious!

Sincerely,
