The Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action is co-hosting a webinar with the Interdisciplinary Nursing Quality Research Initiative (INQRI) featuring Barbara Safriet, JD, LLM, Associate Dean and Lecturer, Yale Law School, who will outline why removing barriers to APRN practice and care matters to consumers. This webinar will discuss the first recommendation of the Institute of Medicine's landmark report, The Future of Nursing: Leading Change, Advancing Health. Safriet is the author of "Federal Options for Maximizing the Value of Advanced Practice Nurse in Providing Quality, Cost-Effective Health Care." Additionally, the webinar will describe AARP advocacy efforts and identify resources that participants may consider in removing barriers to APRN practice and care. Please find the agenda here
