Committee Reports

Treasurers Report:   Kathy Marollo

Current balance; savings acct $ 6045.29, checking $ 15,408.41 = total $21,453.70.

Teaching Day: Kathy Marollo, Maria Allen

Final tally for the Teaching day is pending. Still have 3 vendor’s checks to collect on. Need final bill from Midnight Oil for the organization.

Total paid to Radisson was $ 3426.04 (this is on par to previous years)

Speaker Honorariums totaled $ 4550.00.

2 $500 scholarships awarded,   3 $100 scholarships awarded.

The Kindle was won by Rayann Schonover.

Feed back was overall very positive. The only negative comments were related to the temperature control of the rooms, many felt it was too cold. A few thought the hands on practice time for the suturing session was limited.

Ideas discussed by the group tonight for future topics include a skill session on EKG interpretation, Lectures on pre-op clearance , renal disease and DOT physical’s. There will be a meeting in Sept of the Conference Committee to recommend any thing further. If you have ideas please join that committee or voice your ideas at any meeting prior.
