Colorado Immunization Information System (CIIS):
A Summary of Policy, Operations and System
CCIC recently conducted a series of stakeholder meetings to develop consensus around enhancements to the Colorado Immunization Information System (CIIS), hosted and managed by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). The project was funded by a grant from The Colorado Health Foundation, COPIC Medical Foundation, and the Caring for Colorado Foundation.
The stakeholder meetings resulted in great discussion and dialogue related to what functionality and enhancements would be of most value to the various user communities. The outcome of those discussions was that the stakeholders came to consensus on a set of priority recommendations to help guide CIIS improvements and upgrades over the next three to five years.

Thank you to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, our funders, the stakeholder participants and HMA, inc. for facilitating the discussions and creating the report and recommendations.
Final Recommendations to Increase Access to
Childhood Vaccines Across Colorado
Last August, more than 150 stakeholders from across the state helped CDPHE launch the SB 222 Task Force. Since then, members of the Task Force have debated, deliberated, and determined the best collective strategies to increase access to immunizations for Colorado's children.
On behalf of the SB 222 Task Force, we are pleased to share with you their final recommendations for increasing access to childhood vaccines across the state. Of particular note, members worked with tenacity and perseverance during the past nine months to reach consensus on these recommendations, capturing what they see as the collective priorities for the state.
