Centralized CANP Website
In April, CANP unveiled a completely redesigned and redeveloped website and new logo - a project that has been two years in the making. Non-members are encouraged to register, but only members will have the full benefits of the website. Obviously we will be phasing out this current website as we transition the new one.
Here is the link to the new website: https://canpweb.org/
As you explore the new site, some of the sections you’ll appreciate include:
My Account
A Virtual Dashboard: Your personal online portal allows you to update your information, register for events online (and keep tabs on them via your own personal CANP calendar), track your Continuing Education credits (even if you didn’t obtain them through CANP) and your history of courses attended, access your members-only discounts and other benefits, join one or our Special Interest Groups (SIGs), and much more.
Chapters
Get Connected: Our network of local chapters is the very foundation of CANP, offering members the opportunity to gather, network, learn, share ideas and serve their communities. The new site will enable ease of communication among chapter members and access to important chapter news and information. There’s also a powerful toolset for chapter leaders that will enhance and streamline every aspect of chapter business and organization.
Education
Stay Ahead of the Game: Progressing in your field means staying current on constantly-evolving practices, regulations and new developments. The educational components of canpweb.org will allow you to quickly track your Continuing Education credits, learn about new CEU opportunities, and earn certifications (such as CS II) online. In the future, we’ll offer online courses through podcasts and webinars for earning CEUs.
Advocacy
The Voice for NPs in California: CANP helps thousands of nurse practitioners speak as one, providing a collective voice in the State Capitol. The new website’s advocacy components will enable members to stay up-to-date on legislative and regulatory developments through alerts and a blog authored by CANP’s Legislative Advocate. There is also a Legislative Action Center that will allow members to directly participate in advocacy efforts with the click of a button.
Resources
A Community of Colleagues: A new online forum will facilitate real-time communication among members on a host of topics. You’ll be able to start or participate in a discussion, ask the community a question or just see what others are saying. The forums will include a section for our SIGs that will greatly enhance their ability to communicate among members. The forums will also include discussions from chapters and other groups.
