The National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists has assumed the role of collecting data regarding the CNS workforce. Nursing workforce data were previously collected by a federal agency but that surveying has ceased. NACNS is now collecting CNS data.  It  is conducting a survey now and is encouraging all who identify themselves as CNSs and/or were educated as CNSs to complete the survey.   The announcement is located on the home page of the organization, NACNS.org.
