VERY IMPORTANT: New federal rules require all Medicaid providers to revalidate their Medicaid enrollment

Denver, CO
The Colorado Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurses

New federal rules require all Medicaid providers to revalidate their Medicaid enrollment starting July 2015 and pay a fee. Nurses will see little change in their enrollment and, as individuals, nurses will be exempted from paying an application fee (unless they are a group of nurses or a clinic run by nurses that enroll in Medicaid and bill as such).  More information about the new rules is available under "Federal Provider Screening Regulations" at https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/hcpf/provider-implementations

Since these are federal requirements, the Department has little flexibility in implementing the new rules but we are looking for stakeholder feedback on a few specific areas.   We are also hosting a webinar next week where providers from across the state can learn more about these new rules.  Information is below.

Thursday, October 23th,12-1pm
Web-based forum on new federal provider screening regulations: The Department will present the new federal regulations and begin to collect feedback about how best to implement them in Colorado. This web-based forum will allow providers and stakeholders from across the state to learn about the new requirements and interact with Department staff. Register for this webinar online: https://www4.gotomeeting.com/register/967208831 Space is limited.
