The Colorado School of Public Health Center for Public Health Practice will host a symposium entitled "Obesity and Public Health in Colorado" on November 12, 2014 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. The purpose is to facilitate the development of a consensus on effective approaches to obesity prevention and control in Colorado. This conference will review the scientific evidence about the public health impact of obesity and the effectiveness of various approaches to reduce obesity risk.
