Anchorage, AK
The Alaska Forensic Professionals Networking Group

On behalf of The Division of Behavorial Health

IHS is working to provide digital cameras, colposcopes, and other accessories to IHS, Tribal, and Urban facilities at no cost to aid in the documentation of domestic and sexual violence cases. We are now accepting requests and would like to offer your facility the opportunity to receive forensic equipment.

This year, IHS is offering two choices that you can choose from listed below:

Basic Forensic Kit: Digital camera, storage case, laptop computer, software for quality assurance, ring flash, tripod, camera lenses, camera batteries, and other camera accessories; and

Expanded Forensic Kit: Colposcope

To receive equipment:
Please go to http://www.ihs.gov/forensichealthcare/providers/ and complete the online request form found at the end of the first paragraph. The information needed should take approximately 3-5 minutes to complete and relates to shipping information, points of contact for sexual assault services and property & supply, and the type of equipment your facility would like to receive.
