Happy NP Week from the Staten Island Chapter of The NPA!

Attached is the 2014 Proclamation signed by Governor Cuomo recognizing the contributions of the nearly 20,000 Nurse Practitioners licensed in New York State along with the thousands of NP students in training.

The Nurse Practitioners Modernization Act is one example of how the NPA worked with stakeholders throughout the NY State to advance the profession and increase access to care.
