Dear NPs,

NP week is Nov 11-17 this year.  As a NP, you have the unique opportunity and ability to make NP Week 2012 (November 11-17) a great success!  Attached to this email are talking points for you to use in promoting NPs and NP Week 2012 in New York State.  Please take a few moments, read through them and then share with the rest of your NP friends, patients, other helath care providers, and the whole community.   Together we can bring NP Week to the fore. 

If you haven't already taken some action surrounding NP Week now is a great time to begin.  Place a notice on your chapter web site.  Ask your chapter members to lend a hand.  You can see a list of ideas for NP Week here.

Together we will join with the nation in a celebration of Nurse Practitioners, raising public awareness of the special and invaluable contributions NPs make to the health of our patients and their families.

Only 3 short weeks remain before the celebration begins so the time to act is now!
