What is the PAC?

So what is the PAC?

The PAC or Political Action Committee raises money to be used by an organization to attend political fund raisers. Sending organization representatives to political fund raisers increases the visibility of the organization and also affords members of the organization the ability to have face to face discussions with politicians and other elected officials. The NPA asks each and every member to contribute at least $20 a year to the PAC to support these activities. We need PAC dollars to be able to compete with other groups who want to exert their influence on the politicians. To make a contribution to the PAC please go to The NPA website at www.thenpa.org. Click the government tab at the top of the page. And then scroll down to Political Action Committee and click. The contribute button will appear.

The law prevents individuals from deducting PAC donations as a business expense from income taxes. If you have any questions on the PAC or PAC activities please contact Mary Beth Koslap-Petraco DNP, CPNP, FAANP, legislative issues chair.
