APRNs licensed in Connecticut can now practice independently (without a written collaborative agreement) if they have had a written collaborative agreement for 3 years and 2000 hours of practice after registering for independent practice (see attached form and new continuing education requirements for independent practice). Connecticut APRNs, please let us know if you have chosen to register as an independent practitioner and any questions or concerns you may have about the process or new requirements.
