Call for Abstracts

The Research Committee of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing Delta Beta Chapter-at-Large is pleased to announce a call for abstracts for presentations and posters at the Spring 2015 conference, planned for March 14, 2015. Recipients of Delta Beta Chapter-At-Large research grants are strongly encouraged to submit abstracts.

The theme of the conference is Nursing and Patient Care Through Evidence Based Practice, Research, and Education. We are interested in innovative studies and EBP projects. We welcome all levels of researchers from student to expert.

Podium Format:

• Must be completed research.
• You may be asked to complete a 30 minute or 60 minute presentation which will include time for your presentation and Q&A.
• Limit of 2 persons to present.

Poster Format:

• Research may be completed or in progress.

Abstract Content: (limit to 500 words – please use provided template)

• Background
• Review of Literature
• Methods
• Results
• Conclusions

Please indicate your preferred format (podium or poster) and if your research was conducted as part of a student project. The deadline for submission is February 13th, 2015. Presenters will be notified by February 20th.
