As requested, this is the synopsis of the dietary guidelines I created for our last meeting.  This is for your personal use only.  You are welcome to make your own patient handouts based on it, but do not copy it please!  The official USDA guidelines will come out later this year.  Do go onto the public commentary and give your input to the USDA!
