ROCK and READ Book Drive
The NAPNAP Childhood Literacy SIG is holding a book drive called ROCK and READ. All NAPNAP chapters are welcome to participate. Starting on March 2, 2015 until July 2, 2015, each NAPNAP chapter will collect as many children's books as possible to donate to a local organization. Our Kansas City chapter will be donating to The City Mission Family Center in KCMO. We are asking our local NAPNAP members to donate new children's books to help support childhood literacy! The chapter that collects the most books for donation, will receive a $200 award.
If you would like to donate to this great cause, please contact vawaddell@cmh.edu for book drop off location. You may also contact anyone of the KC NAPNAP board members to give your donation. We will also have a location available to drop off your books at the upcoming NAPNAP CEU event. Below you will find two links that will assist in guiding your book choices.
