November 11-17, 2012 is National Nurse Practitioner Week. In preparation of this event, a proclamation was signed by Macon County Mayor Shelvy Linville on Thursday November 8th at the Macon County Courthouse. Present for the signing were area nurse practitioners Janice York, Lenore Wix, Chaundel Presley, Andrea Brooks and Priscilla Hale. In addition, both local newspapers are slated to include a photo and article about nurse practitioners in their weekly publication. Happy Nurse Practitioner Week everyone!
