What’s New at the NPAGR March 2015
(though it looks and feels like February!!!)

In spite of the very cold weather, our Membership Meeting on 3/25 was a great success!!

Trilby de Jung, Esq, CEO of the Finger Lakes Health System Agency provided a cogent description of the complex work going on as the Delivery System Reform Incentive Program (DISRIP) works along with the Finger Lakes Performing Provider System ( FLPPS) and the Rochester Regional Health Commission on Community Improvement ( RCCI) to reorganize how care is delivered and paid for in our area. Actions taken by these organizations will affect access to care, workforce opportunities and resource allocation as the Naturally Occurring Care Networks (NOCNs) realign to decrease health care costs. After her presentation, participants understood all of these acronyms and how these groups are working toward the future of health care in our region and state. President Dave Goede introduced NPAGR Board Members and provided a quick update on the State of the Chapter. Region I Representative Dee Krebs gave an update from the NPA meetings. Members enjoyed a wonderful dinner and networked with each other at this annual meeting of the membership.
